The structure, which has a history of 150 years and belongs to BASF, one of the leading chemistry giants of the world, consists of 7 different field laboratories and indoor and outdoor spaces that support these laboratories and explain the production philosophy of the company. There are private laboratories that develop chemical products and technologies for different sectors such as food, construction chemicals, fuel additives, dispersion pigments, polyurethane and agriculture in the building, which has a closed area of 3500 m2. In addition to the research laboratories, the building, which has open and closed common living areas, social spaces and innovation workshops, became operational in 2020.
