The scheme has been proposed in one of the most rapidly urbanized zones of İstanbul, Kurtköy. The reproduction of known formats which is the repetitive free standing urban block has been decisively eliminated right from the start.
The project consists of 133 units in two blocks. The geometry and the topography of the site has almost dictated the positioning of the buildings. The blocks has been located along the perimeter of the site, leaving maximum space for common recreational areas. All entrances and open parking has been proposed behind the buildings whille living spaces of each unit face the generous landscape in the middle. The access to the common space is via 2 story high passages allowing users easly circulating around the site. Creation of upper terraces provide alternative public spaces and vistas. The project offers different alternatives for varying household profiles from studio to 3 room flats with rich plan configurations.
